Life Size Creature Bust

A life size creature bust I created in John Brown's Sculpture 3 class at Gnomon. The concept words given to my by the teacher were bird and creator. I based my concept on Icarus. My character created himself into a bird, challenging the gods, "flying too close to the sun". I tried to depict the moment when the gods rip off his wings, right before he gets locked away in a cave :). Scroll down for a video turnaround. :)
